Gina Moreno-John, MD, MPH is a physician and professor of medicine at University of California, San Francisco in the Division of General Internal Medicine (DGIM). She is a primary care and weight management physician caring for a diverse panel of patients. She teaches a Social Medicine Seminar to primary care residents and precepts primary care residents in clinical practice. She is founder and medical director of the DGIM Food Pharmacy, serving healthy foods and meals to patients with food insecurity. At DGIM she is the inaugural director of DEI, runs the Anti-Racism Town Halls, and helped found the Social Justice Committee. As a Latinx woman and provider, Dr. Moreno-John mentors high school, college, medical students as well as primary care residents and junior faculty.
